As a follow up to the “Art Brunch series for Estonia” by Simon B. Haefele the Austrian artist invites you to a late brunch. You are invited to think on the following questions and bring your thoughts to the get-together.

What to you think is the power of the artist?
What effects, what impact and what kind of influence on society can one single person have?
How is art being used by the various protagonists in the field and by yourself?
What could or should be brought to people by the use of artistic methods?

Burn Your Ideas! is an emergent collection of unrealized ideas. We focus our attention on those ideas that have been lying around in people’s heads, lost in the back of mental drawers, never spoken out aloud for fear of embarrassment, or held back for idea-kleptophobia. We provide a positive environment for the reanimation of nascent thoughts. Naturally, under Creative Commons.

Burn Your Ideas! (BYI) was presented on February 21st 2009 at the Congress for Solidaric Economy. Within an 1 1/2 hour workshop / discussion we offered another opportunity to get in touch with the project and burn your own ideas.

We invited to the 2nd official Burn Your Ideas! presentation evening at Wednesday the 26th of November 2008, 20:00h at Garnisongasse 7, 1090 Vienna.

At any Burn Your Ideas! event you are welcome to either bring and present your very own idea or simply listen and contribute to the discussions. In order to share an idea you must accept the following important rules of the Burn Your Ideas! presentation format:

1) The presented idea must be an unrealized one.
2) You must be the author of the idea.
3) Short descriptions should be presented as texts and/or any other audio-visual form
4) The presented ideas are to be published on the Burn Your Ideas! webside and you agree that they are licensed under the terms of the "Creative Commons Attribution License 3.0"

On the 19th of November we presented Burn Your Ideas! in the scope of ArtMart at Kuenstlerhaus.

sonance.artistic.network announced a sneak preview on June 24th of Burn Your Ideas, the cathartic destruction of your very own most failed but desperately good Art Idea.

On Wendsday 23rd of April we invited you to an artist presentation at Garnisongasse 7, 1090 Vienna.

Form the 23rd of November until the 1st of December 2007 sonance.artistic.network held it's third biannual "re.sonance" festival, published a book including dvd.

We created a free real feedback space for our members and invited emerging young artists, (net)-activists and scientists to present their work to a broad public.

live-net:art-brunch at 12/13:30 into two locations with a discussion about digital election/voting systems. One Part of the virtu-real meating was taking place in Vienna, Austria and the second half of the desk was placed in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Workshop of the PROJECT TRANSIT was taking place in the first week of July in Nickelsdorf.
