Outgoing Email Support
When you use sonance servers to send your outgoing mail, you will need these things:
- email address
- account name
- password
- SMTP server
Account Name and Password
The account name looks like yourname_yourdomain_net. All of the funny characters in your email address are turned into underscores.
Changing your Password. The password can be reset through manege.sonance.net:
- Select a User where it says "Select user."
- Overright the password field with your new password. Make sure you write it somewhere safe, generally on paper at home.
- Click Update User down the bottom.
- Now, click on Commit Session at the top right.
- Wait a while... And check.
select the domain your email address is within in the left-hand drop-down menu, where it says "Choose the domain to manage."
If that doesn't work, file a support ticket asking for a password reset. Make sure you provide the full details: your account name in both forms would be useful.
Server Domain
The server for outgoing SMTP mail is called smtpauth.sonance.net .
