1998 sonance.artistic.network started as a network for experimental electronic music by Oliver Maklott, Matthias Gassner, Bernhard Lutz and Simon Häfele. 2000 we got invited to the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) in London to perform with RMT (Remote Music Tool) http://dsm.sonance.net/ / RMT: http://www.maklott.com/

2001 the first resonance took place. You can still find the digital copy of the very first printed programm-folder, produced in the scope of the first resonance via the archiv-homepage http://www.sonance.net/projects/resonance2001/
That same year we worked on a event series called real-audience were we pioneered video-blog systems http://real-audience.sonance.net/ and the first inpotenza took place.
2003 another release of the 14 days/24-hour music festival "inpotenza" http://inpotenza.sonance.net/ enlarged our activities.

Many other events, installations and actions in public space were on our way until today (and before everything started). Some of them are mentioned in the "History of |sonance|network|" part of the hardcopy we did publish 2005 in the scope of the re.sonance.005. 2006 and 07 our members had many activties going on. A work-in-progress-show in the media-art-laboratory in the Kunsthaus Graz ( http://date-a006.sonance.net ), one exhibition in the Alliance Francaise in Nairobi ( http://economyclass.sonance.net ), two in the Flaktowers ( http://flakturm.net ) in Vienna, ect.
Your last re.sonance festival took place in November 2007 and besides the event series we published a book including DVD and documentation videos are to be seen online via the website http://resonance007.sonance.net/ In this book there is also a dedicated part on the latest history and our activities between 2005 and 2007.
